Library Facilities

• The library is open on all school working days from *9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
• Every student of the school is an automatic member of the library.
• The collection includes textbooks, reference books, encyclopedias, storybooks, magazines and e-learning resources
• A separate reading area ensures a quiet, comfortable and focused environment

Rules & Regulations

• Silence must be maintained in the library at all times.
• Each student can borrow one book at a time for a period of one week.
• Books must be returned on or before the due date; failure to do so will lead to penalties.
• Marking, underlining, or writing on library books is strictly forbidden.
• Students must handle books with care; damaged or lost books must be replaced at cost
• Willful damage or theft of library materials will be treated as a serious offence and may lead to disciplinary action.
• Library cards must be presented while borrowing or returning books.
• Reference books and certain restricted materials are not to be taken out of the library.

Encouraging Reading Habits

• Every class has a library period scheduled to encourage consistent reading.
• Students are motivated to participate in book reviews, storytelling sessions and reading competitions.
• Teachers and librarians guide students in choosing books that match their reading level and interest.
